A real Halloween favorite of young and old!

Sorcerer's Wands

1 (14-ounce) package caramels, unwrapped
1 tablespoon water
20 (7- to 8-inch) pretzel rods
10-ounces chocolate candy coating
Decorator candies and/or sprinkles
  1. Spray waxed paper-covered baking sheet with no stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. Combine caramels and water in microwave-safe dish. Microwave on HIGH, stirring after each minute, until smooth (2 to 2 1/2 minutes).
  3. Dip each pretzel rod into melted caramel. Spread caramel onto about 2/3 of pretzel with spatula. Let excess drip from pretzel. Place onto prepared waxed paper until set. Refrigerate rods while preparing chocolate coating.
  4. Place chocolate candy coating into 2-cup glass measuring cup. Microwave on HIGH, stirring after each minute, until coating is melted (1 1/2 to 2 minutes).
  5. Press caramel mixture evenly and smoothly around pretzels; dip into chocolate, using spatula to spread chocolate, if necessary. Place onto waxed paper; decorate with candies or sprinkles. Refrigerate until set.
