Pumpkin bars frosted with cream cheese icing

Petrifying Pumpkin Bars For A Crowd

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon cinnamon
4 large eggs
1/2 cup corn oil
1/2 cup apple sauce
2 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup chopped nuts
  1. Combine dry ingredients, add eggs, oil, apple sauce and pumpkin. Blend well.
  2. Stir in nuts. Divide batter into two 9 x 13-inch ungreased pans.
  3. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350° F. Cool.
  4. Frost with ready-made cream cheese frosting if desired.
