Orange Poke Cake
3 ounces orange jello mix
3/4 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1 package white cake mix
TOPPING:
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 small package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 envelope dream whip topping
1 teaspoon vanilla
In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water;
stir. Set aside. Prepare and bake according to package directions,
using a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Cool on a wire
rack. With a meat fork, pierce holes to the bottom of the cake,
about 1 inch apart. Pour gelatin into holes. Chill. In a small
mixing bowl, combine all topping ingredients; beat until stiff peaks
from. Frost cake. Store in the refrigerator. |
